ed, after three months hospitalization, requested reassignment to Vietnam. Was chosen for MACV Advisory Team 17 in Quang Ngai Province. Spent two years with the Advisory team in Nghi Hanh District and Tra Bong District. Ran into Paul Hines twice while an advisor. After the last time I was wounded, in late 1972 the Army refused to allow me to return to Vietnam and transferred me to Fort Campbell, Kentucky. I was given a general discharge in July 1973 for failure to adjust to peacetime military service and personality disorders.
